Messinger Bearings Receives ISO 9001:2000 Certification PHILADELPHIA, PA The Messinger Bearings brand of Kingsbury, Inc. has received ISO 9001:2000 certification from Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (LRQA). For many years, Messinger's previous inspection system complied with MIL-I-45208A. Certification with the new ISO specification further enhances the commitment to a high quality product, in keeping with the standards currently met by the brand's parent, Kingsbury, Inc. "Achieving certification required a complete check of the research, design, development and manufacturing processes," explained Suzanne Pudlo, Corporate Quality Systems Specialist at Kingsbury. The new ISO standard is process-model based and was developed using a core set of eight quality management principles. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is a non-government foundation that promotes standards relating to quality management around the world. |
